Site Plan Design
From casting the vision, to turning an existing plan into reality, we work with our clients at any stage of design. We simultaneously meet the clients’ objectives, ensure the proposal is the right fit for the surrounding area, and that it conforms to City’s requirements. This may include but is not limited to:
- Verifying and reviewing of zoning bylaw regulations
- Development of conceptual site plans
- Coordinating the required disciplines such as landscaping and civil engineering teams
- Preparing and coordinating all relevant information for site plan approval
Conceptual Design
The preliminary phase of the design process requires in-depth evaluation of the client’s functional and design needs/requests. This is where innovative solutions are crafted that best fit within the project’s parameters while checking off as many boxes with the client. This may include, but is not limited to:
- Development of conceptual layouts
- Presentation drawings (floor plans, elevations, and sections)
- Mass modeling studies
- Building renderings
Construction Documentation
Once site and building designs are finalized, the CF Design team works diligently to translate the design into technical language for the construction of the project. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Building design and coordination of building services including structural, mechanical and electrical consultants
- Working drawings for permit, pricing, and construction
- Construction support and closeout
